Apple Pay makes it very easy to make purchases in stores, via apps and on websites. Owners of devices with the iOS and macOS operating system — iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or MacBook can pay for purchases using Apple Pay.

How to connect devices to Apple Pay?

On iPhone

  1. Open or download Finom app from Apple Store. Open the desired Card’s page → «Add to Apple Wallet» → Follow the instructions on the screen
  2. Open the Wallet app and tap the Plus icon, then follow the instructions on the screen

On the Apple Watch

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, select «Wallet and Apple Pay» → "Add a debit card"→ Follow the instructions on the screen

How to pay with Apple Pay?

  • iPhone with Face ID

    To use the default card, double-click the side button, then use your iPhone to authenticate with Face ID or enter a password.

    Hold the top of the iPhone a few inches away from the contactless reader until the display shows «Done» with a check mark.

  • iPhone with Touch ID

    To use the default card, place your finger on the Touch ID sensor.

    Hold the top of the iPhone a few inches away from the contactless reader until the display shows «Done» with a check mark.

  • iPhone with Apple Watch

    Put your Apple Watch on your wrist and enter your password.

    To pay, double-click the side button on the watch, select the card, and hold the Apple Watch display up to the terminal. The terminal will report the successful completion of the transaction.

  • How many cards can I add to Apple Pay?
    You can add up to 12 personal cards issued under your name depending on device model.
  • How do I pay with Apple Pay?
    When making payments in stores, Apple Pay works with terminals that support contactless payments.

    Payment in stores.

    You don’t need to wake up your iPhone or open an app to pay for in-store purchases. Just bring your iPhone to the terminal with your finger on Touch ID or using your phone’s Face ID / passcode. You will see «Ready» on the screen, feel a slight vibration and hear a beep. This means that your payment information has been sent. On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and turn the Apple Watch display toward the terminal. With a light touch and beep, Apple Watch will confirm that your payment information has been sent.

    Payment in apps and in the Internet.

    To pay for purchases in applications and on the Internet on an iPhone or an iPad, at checkout, select Apple Pay as the payment method and confirm the operation with Touch ID or Face ID, or with the device password.To pay for your purchase when using Safari on a Mac, select Apple Pay, and then complete the checkout on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
  • Where can I pay with Apple Pay?
    You can pay for purchases using Apple Pay wherever contactless card payments are available, as well as in mobile apps and on the Internet — where there is a button "Pay with Apple Pay".
  • Is it safe to pay for Apple Pay purchases?
    Apple Pay is as secure as cards with chips.

    Your card details are securely protected, since they are not stored on the device and are not transferred anywhere during payment. Confirmation of the transaction using Touch ID / Face ID or device password is always required, and for large transactions you may need to enter your card PIN code at the payment terminal.
  • Do I need an internet connection to pay for purchases with Apple Pay?
    You don’t need to connect to the Internet to pay for purchases in stores with Apple Pay.
  • How do I return an item I paid for with Apple Pay?
    The cashier will need a device token number or card to return it.

    The token number is a unique number that each card added to Apple Pay receives. To view this number, open the card in the Wallet application and click the"Information" icon. The last four digits will be indicated under the card number — this is the token number. To find your Apple Watch token number, open the Wallet & Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select a card.

    If a card is required, you need to follow the same steps as when purchasing:

    a) On the device used for payment, select the card from which the payment was made.

    b) Hold your iPhone near the terminal and confirm the return with Touch ID / Face ID or a password from your phone. On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the device display next to the terminal.
  • How much does it cost to use Apple Pay?
    There is no additional charge for using Apple Pay.
  • What to do if your Apple device with Apple Pay is stolen?
    No one else will be able to use your device for payments, since confirmation of the transaction with a fingerprint (Touch ID), face recognition (Face ID) or a phone password is always required to confirm a transaction.

    However, if the device is lost or stolen, the User must visit the Apple website icloud.com/find or use the Find My iPhone app to suspend or completely remove all cards from the lost device. The cards will be deleted even if the device is turned off.
  • Will Apple Pay continue to work if my mobile has a case on it? Will this interfere in any way?
    If the case is made of thin physical or rubber, it shouldn’t interfere with Apple Pay payments.
