I am quite satisfied with my experience with FINOM. I have contacted their customer service by email on several occasions, and they normally respond very quickly. Sometimes the initial answers can be a little incomplete, meaning that you need to ask a few follow-up questions before getting all the information you need. However, when you get an excellent agent like Elsa, the experience is completely different. Elsa responded very quickly and gave me a clear, detailed and complete explanation of the issue I was experiencing. She explained exactly what had happened, why it had happened, and what I could do to resolve it. Everything I needed was covered in a single response, and my question was solved immediately. This is exactly the kind of efficient and knowledgeable customer service I really appreciate.

I've had a very positive experience with Finom so far. The interface is intuitive, the bookkeeping features save me a lot of time, and the overall platform makes managing my business finances much easier on a daily basis. One area that could be improved is the MCC fees, as they can add up over time. On the other hand, the cashback program is a nice benefit and helps offset some of those costs. I'd also love to see Finom offer a proper credit line or other financing options for small entrepreneurs, credit that makes positive impact. Access to flexible funding would make it easier for businesses in the early stages to grow. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and would recommend it to other small business owners looking for a modern and easy-to-use business banking solution. Thanks a lot for your services.

Advertised 5% – got 0.75% instead

I opened a Finom account specifically because of the prominently advertised 5% p.a. for 5 months interest offer. After completing the onboarding, my account only showed 0.75% p.a. I contacted support and initially received multiple contradictory explanations. Only after repeated follow-up was I told that the 5% offer only applies to selected eligible customers and cannot be applied to my account. The main issue is not the interest rate itself, but the lack of transparency before account opening. If an advertised promotion does not apply to all new customers, this should be made clear upfront and individually before onboarding. Very disappointing first experience. UPDATE: Initial onboarding experience was frustrating due to unclear communication around the advertised 5% interest promotion. My account first showed only 0.75%, and support responses were inconsistent. However, after escalation, Finom contacted me directly, reviewed the case, applied the 5% promotional rate until 16.09.2026, and also offered a goodwill gesture. So while the first impression was poor, I appreciate that they ultimately took ownership and resolved the issue professionally. I hope transparency around promotional eligibility will improve going forward.
