Who is the legal representative?
To open your Finom business account, you must be the legal representative of your company. Legal representative means a natural person who is authorized to act on behalf of the company and is empowered to perform all actions related to the general administration of the company in accordance with the company's purpose, such as a CEO.
What documents do I need to open an account?
Whether you are a freelancer or represent a company, opening your Finom business account only takes a few minutes.
Don't forget that you will need:
- Email address and password that you used for the pre-registration (if you forgot them, click 'forgot password')
- Have your ID or passport ready to verify your identity
- Don't forget to keep all the information about your business next to you.
Can I make SEPA and other international transfers with Finom (like SWIFT or similar)?
Yes, Finom allows you to send payments within the SEPA zone as well as international payments worldwide.
How can I withdraw funds from my account or make deposits into it?
With a Finom business account, you have access to the same important services that a traditional bank account provides, such as the ability to withdraw and deposit your money from the account.
To make a deposit to your account, you can make a transfer from your current bank account. To make a withdrawal, you can use your physical Finom card at all European ATMs.
Can entrepreneurs from any country open an account?
Currently, you can easily open a business account with Finom for companies that are based and do business in Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain. The legal representative (the only person who can open a business account on behalf of a company), as well as the beneficial owners, must have a valid residence permit in one of these two countries, regardless of the country of issue of his or her passport/ID card.
We plan to add more European countries in the future. However, if you are the owner of a company based in the US or if US taxpayers have an interest in your company, we are currently unable to open a business account for you (due to the FATCA agreement).
