Finally a great banking experience!

The banking landscape has become increasingly limited, and many providers simply do not understand the needs of corporate clients as well as Finom does. When we initially started using Finom for payroll and operational expenditure (OPEX) management, we viewed it primarily as a fintech solution. Over time, however, we have seen our clients become comfortable banking with us through Finom, and we have gradually shifted more and more of our business operations onto the platform. The compliance process and onboarding experience are straightforward, efficient, and handled by a highly competent team. Their customer support has been exceptional, particularly the team assigned to us. Advertised 5% – got 0.75% instead

I opened a Finom account specifically because of the prominently advertised 5% p.a. for 5 months interest offer. After completing the onboarding, my account only showed 0.75% p.a. I contacted support and initially received multiple contradictory explanations. Only after repeated follow-up was I told that the 5% offer only applies to selected eligible customers and cannot be applied to my account. The main issue is not the interest rate itself, but the lack of transparency before account opening. If an advertised promotion does not apply to all new customers, this should be made clear upfront and individually before onboarding. Very disappointing first experience. UPDATE: Initial onboarding experience was frustrating due to unclear communication around the advertised 5% interest promotion. My account first showed only 0.75%, and support responses were inconsistent. However, after escalation, Finom contacted me directly, reviewed the case, applied the 5% promotional rate until 16.09.2026, and also offered a goodwill gesture. So while the first impression was poor, I appreciate that they ultimately took ownership and resolved the issue professionally. I hope transparency around promotional eligibility will improve going forward.
